The CINECA Data Centre is located in the hall close to the “Botti” group and shares the areas dedicated to the electrical and mechanical systems situated on Via Ferrarese with INFN-CNAF. LEONARDO, the new pre-exascale class Supercomputer, is the heart of this Data Centre. The project for the LEONARDO system was presented by CINECA to represent Italy, in agreement with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Universities and Research, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) and the International School for Higher Studies (SISSA), approved by the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU).
