Attracting international research projects, startups and scaleups working on data and artificial intelligence to grow the Data Valley, the national strategic supply chain of infrastructure and computational sciences that starts from the Emilia-Romagna Region: this is the goal of the collaboration agreement signed between ART-ER, CINECA, and OBLOO, a deep tech venture capital and technology transfer company.
The goal is to support the creation on the regional territory of an "ecosystem" of innovative companies within the Tecnopolo Manifattura Data Valley Hub, working in close connection with the world of research, industry and institutions in the area, using the potential of supercomputing to develop their business.
The Data Valley "ecosystem" will be implemented by leveraging an OBLOO startup incubation, acceleration and investment methodology aimed at developing deep tech applications. In collaboration with universities and research institutions, the best technologies will be identified, with the aim of transforming them into new businesses, products and services and accompanying them in their development towards the market. A path that is expected to attract more than 100 million euros of investment.
